These terms cover your use of the John Carter Photography website and any prints or subscriptions you order through it. By using the site you agree to them. This is a preview build, so ordering is not yet switched on.
Using this website
This site exists to show my photography, sell prints and editions, and make it easy to get in touch. The content is provided in good faith and may change at any time.
Photographs and content
All photographs, text and design on this site belong to John Carter Photography unless stated otherwise. Please don't copy, reproduce, resell or use any image — including for AI training — without my written permission. Buying a print gives you that print for personal display; it doesn't transfer copyright or a licence to reproduce the image.
Prints, editions and orders
Prints are sold in limited editions; once an edition sells out, it's retired. Because each is made to order, slight variations in colour and tone are part of the craft, and screens can show colour differently to a finished print. When ordering is live, an order is confirmed once payment is received, and these terms apply to that sale.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices, sizes and editions shown in this preview are samples. When the store is live, payment is handled through a secure third-party provider, and card details are never collected or stored by this website.
Delivery and returns
Delivery times and any returns or replacement arrangements (for example, prints damaged in transit) will be set out at checkout when the store goes live, and are provided in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the forms on this site to send spam, abusive or unlawful content. Messages like that are deleted and, where necessary, blocked.
External links
Where this site links to other services, they're provided for convenience. John Carter Photography isn't responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law — including the Australian Consumer Law, which may give you rights that cannot be excluded — John Carter Photography isn't liable for loss arising from use of this website itself. Nothing in these terms limits any guarantee that applies under that law.
